Smallfootprintfamily.com is a quickly growing site with an average of 15,000 page views each month. A few of our articles have gone viral with over 100,000 hits. We write about natural living and parenting, self-sufficiency, organic gardening, and whole food nutrition with a bent towards traditional foods and grass-fed animal products.

All of the opinions shared on Small Footprint Family are those of the post author solely. Please know that we would never recommend a product, website, or service unless it is something that we love and use. It is my goal that you are able to trust that what you read here is always real, honest, and true.
As you can imagine, it takes a significant amount of time to create all of this content. Therefore, I do accept paid advertising, sponsorships, affiliate programs, and other forms of compensation. Many of the books, gadgets and other items mentioned in our posts will have links to our Amazon store or other great companies, where your purchase helps to support this blog.
However, NO amount of money will ever affect my opinion on a subject. I will always be thorough and honest when reviewing products. I will gladly turn down offers that do not fit into my philosophy and/or ideology.
We will gladly accept banner and text ads only for products that are relevant to our audience and that we have used and can recommend. REVIEWS & GIVEAWAYS
If you are a company or a PR rep who would like to sponsor a giveaway or have a product reviewed, we would love to hear from you! Please ask before mailing any products, otherwise we cannot guarantee a review.
We generally do not return products. We may make an exception to this policy if an honorarium is provided.
We prefer to write reviews based on personal experience with products. We find our readers are more interested in products we have tested and can vouch for personally.
We have built a relationship with our readers based on authenticity. Therefore, we are always honest about our impressions of a product. We strive to make our reviews personal and share our experience with them. In the rare event we publish a sponsored post written by a 3rd party, we are forthright with that information at the beginning and end of the post.
Giveaways are a great way to gain more exposure for your product. If you would like to provide a product for a giveaway, we ask you to handle fulfillment. Giveaway winners are chosen at random using Random.org — a random integer generator. We reveal the winner at the top of the review/giveaway post and email the winner. We then email you the winner’s mailing information as soon as we receive it.
Once again, DO NOT SEND US GIVEAWAY PRODUCTS. Hold onto the product and mail it directly to the recipient.
If you want to provide a product to give away, we need to know the following:
- a brief description of the product you want us to review and/or give away and the monetary value,
- a link to the product on your website or on Amazon.com,
- where you are willing to ship (US only, US and Canada, or anywhere),
- if there is a discount code you would like to offer my readers,
- a high res photo I can include in my post.
