If you checked out the Chocolate Truffle Cake in my recipe section, then surely you know how much I adore my latest cookbook, Indulge! 70 Grain Free Desserts.

chocolatetrufflecake

Carol Lovett of Ditch the Wheat has taken all the guesswork out of learning how to make scrumptious baked goods that are grain-free, dairy-free, cane sugar free, and Paleo/Primal and GAPS-friendly. I could have saved years of trial and error (not to mention a ton of money) if I had had this book when I first learned about my family’s food sensitivities.

I don’t know about you, but I have been often let down by gluten-free and grain-free treats. Whether you make them yourself or buy them, most come out either soggy, heavy and eggy or dry, crumbly and kinda flavorless.

But everything I have made from Indulge! has been fabulous!

indulgecoverWhether it’s an adaptation of classic dessert staples like chocolate ganache, vanilla cake, or pie crust—or a doughnut that somehow tastes tastes totally amazing without containing any grains or milk—this book is top-notch, and Carol really knows what she is doing.

And if that weren’t enough, the pictures are amazing, plus the ingredient lists, helpful tips and substitution guides are really valuable too. (You can check out a sample here)

Because this book has got me so excited about baking, I asked Carol if I could give away another copy to one of my lucky readers. Of course, she said yes, and so here’s your chance to enter to win the veritable bible of grain free dessert recipes.

Giveaway ends Tuesday, May 14 at 12:00 am.

doughnutsIf you love dessert as much as I do, but have been totally unimpressed with most grain-free baked goods, I strongly encourage you to check out Indulge! 70 Grain Free Desserts

No gluten-free, Paleo or grain-free cookbook library would be complete without this invaluable resource.

And to tempt you even further, Carol is offering Indulge! for 20% off until May 31st! So if you don’t win, you can still get this very popular e-cookbook while it’s on sale!

I would love to win this cookbook! I’ve wanted to try out a paleo diet for a while but my husband is an avid baker. With this book, he could still enjoy his hobby and I could try living grain free.

I am always on the look out for grain free treats. I would love to win this book. The recipes look yummy!

I’d like to win because my sister’s family has to be grain-free now due to allergies and they seem much healthier and in less pain. My kids and I were recently diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Type III (Hypermobility Type) and I believe we have a gluten intolerance at the least. I know going grain free should help reduce inflammation, and therefore pain, and would love to have tasty alternatives. Soon to go gluten free, dairy free, and then grain free. Thanks for the chance to win.

Baking is one of the things I miss most since going GF. So, anytime I can find great tasting baking recipes…I’m in! Also, find it challenging to convince my older children that desserts can still be yummy and be GF. Thank you!

I’d like this cook book because I recently found out after 25 years of skin problems that I’m allergic to gluten and have dermatitis herpetiformis. I’ve completely cut gluten out of my diet, and it’s honestly changed my life.

Gluten free cooking and baking is a whole new world to me, but it’s been great learning. For me it’s worth it since gluten free means no more skin problems. This cookbook would help me expand on what I’m learning and give me fun new recipes to play with.

Have this book, so many recipes to try yet, but the ones I have made are wonderful, yummy and kid approved! Great dessert book!

Reply

I want to win Indulge because it’s grain free and dairy free. It’s not easy to find both.

Reply

Stephanie KL May 10, 2013 at 10:54 am

With this book, my search is ended!! I’ll be able to make pies with a top crust, lemon tarts, breads, etc. I’m in heaven! You think I’m happy, you’ll only need to see my husband’s reaction devouring one of the decadent “Indulgence” creations. It is common for him to enjoy a second piece. Winning this book would be such a delight.

What incredible looking food! I am still very much learning about what my body needs whilst trying to balance that with what looks appetizing AND is simple/cost effective to cook!

It really feels like a minefield at times and yet I know can be simplified, the more I learn the more I can assist not only myself but also clients who visit me!

Another main reason I would love this kind of thing in my life…. it will cause me NO pain! :) my tummy applauds you AND it! Thanks and New Moon blessings to you.

I learned through previewing the book that — quote:
“All of the recipes except for Mom’s Chocolate
Chip Cookies included in Indulge call for almond meal but almond flour can be used in its place.”

I though this was really interesting since I have usually been buying almond flour over almond meal. I am anxious to learn more ( and taste more) since wheat and most grains as of late are not part of my diet.
