GIVEAWAY: 18-Piece GlassLock Storage Set {$40 Value!}

If you are trying to eat more whole foods and home cooked meals, it makes sense to have a set of storage containers that can hold your leftovers well. So you’ll want to invest in food storage containers that are made of glass instead of toxic plastic, and which can also easily go from fridge to oven to microwave or freezer.

Well, you voted for it on Facebook, and here it is! This month’s giveaway is this very useful 18-piece GlassLock Storage Set!

Storing your food in glass containers not only helps you avoid the endocrine disrupting chemicals found in plastic food storage containers, but glass is also an easily renewable, low-footprint resource that, with care, is much longer-lasting than plastic, too.

I have had a set of these for years, plus several extra pieces, and I ADORE them!

The GlassLock 18-piece set features:

  • All-Natural glass vessels with BPA-free airtight lids
  • Ideal for serving & storing; safe for the oven and microwave cooking
  • Rectangular Containers: 1.6 cups, 3.5 cups, 3.5 cups, and 6.3 cups with 4 matching lids
  • Rectangular Containers: 1.5 cups and 3.3 cups with 2 matching lids
  • Round Containers: 0.73 cups, 1.6 cups, and 3.1 cups with 3 matching lids

I not only use these glass containers to store leftover food in the fridge, but I also use them as serving dishes, to reheat food in the oven, and even to freeze things. They are also great for taking soup or other liquid items to lunch, because of their leakproof BPA-free lids!

They clean up easily in the dishwasher, and the lids are resistant to staining. How does it get better than that?

These GlassLock containers are the crème-de-la-crème, and every kitchen would benefit from having at least one set!

  • I cook a lot, and bring leftovers to work for lunch. These are great b/c they are glass and therefore don’t leach unwanted chemicals into my food.

  • I’ve been looing for frugal, trash reducing and durable ways to store our food at home. This is just what I was looking for!

  • I love glass lock containers. We have a few and I use them all the time, always need more.
They are wonderful for school lunches and for storage!

  • Switching out all of my plastic tupperware for glassware. My husband and I are trying to live a more healthy (chemical-free) and sustainable lifestyle.

  • 1) I really love the fact that there are so many different rectangular containers
    1.6cups/378ml, 3.5cups/828ml, 3.5cups/828ml, 6.3cups/1.5L with 4 matching lids
    2) I’ve never owned a glass set like this before and would love this.

  • Our hormones are out of balance enough in this household. This would help me get rid of the plastics that are still remaining without much of a fuss from the head chef ;O) because everyone loves a gift :O) not so much the wise decision behind it.

  • I love glass over plastic! We are on our journey to rid our home of plastic and other dangerous chemicals in our foods, cleaning supplies, and everyday items. This set would help me get rid of the last of our plastic containers that i still use. (Don’t have enough to meet all of our leftover and lunch needs just yet!)

  • I want to win because I love that I can freeze in them AND bake! Trying to rod of pur plastics but this is one area I haven’t tackled.

  • I have been researching plastic safety the past month plus. It has been a huge change in our home that is no where near complete. I hope to take one more step closer to my goal of safe and healthy food storage for my family. It is questionable (at best) if there is a safe plastic on the market for storing food.

  • I love that not only are these glass containers that you can use for both serving and storing, but also the fact that the lids are BPA free! This would be such an awesome, versatile set to own!

  • I have never got a chance to use these, only plastic containers which I dislike. I feel these would keep me on track to consume homemade meals while in college and avoid the freshman 15. Hehe
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  • I have recently had some health issues come up including thyroid and allergies. Even before those issues I was trying to change my diet and environment, switching away from plastics wherever possible. I have been seeing a naturopath, and have been put on a radically reduced diet to try and identify allergens, so these glass containers would be just the ticket. Thanks for the great giveaway offer!

  • I bought some of these when I was purging my plastic containers. I would really love to have some more as I prepare a lot of freezer meals ahead of when I need them.

  • I have been replacing all my plastic ware over that last few years but a few pieces my husband refuses to let me get rid of. He states that he wants to be able to see through the lid of the container too. and these are clear enough he should be able to! these would be wonderful!

  • I actually have a couple of these containers, and I LOVE them! I love the way they combine the healthfulness (and beauty) of glass with the practical usefulness of the plastic tops.

  • I love glass containers, I usually pick them up at garage sales or thrift stores minus lids. It would be great to have a large brand new set with lids for all! I try to stay away from using plastic as much as I can because of the chemicals in them. Thanks!
